What Happens At An Event

After a hard day at work lets look forward to something a bit more fun!

TippleART provides a comfortable environment in which to engage in a creative activity with others – relaxing with a favourite tipple and painting.  A theme will be set for the event with an abundance of reference material, including templates, to help you.

On arrival you will be greeted and pointed towards your table which will be set out with easels (these have a drawer at the front which contains brushes, pencil, colour wheel and other things you may find useful), canvas board and aprons.  There will be a table of resource materials – pictures for inspiration and stencils to aid you.  You may have come with your own reference material or just choose what you need from ours.

Another area will have acrylic paints, a water dispenser, sponges, printing materials, brushes, coloured pens and our selection of foils. Just help yourself to anything you need.  You will have a paper plate for a paint palette and a water pot.  You only need small amounts of paint as it goes a long way and do remember to change your water when it gets too dirty. Depending on our venue, your complementary drink will either be waiting for you or your order will be taken.  There is always an option of a soft or hot drink. For some of our events and themes we give a short introduction, maybe a word about the artist we are using for inspiration, or some information about any special materials we are using such as gold leaf.

Now you are all set to enjoy the event.

Some friendly company, wonderful food, a glass of wine, and some fun with paint!

Whether you come on your own or with friends or family, you will experience a friendly environment and we are always on hand to help. .  No experience is necessary and you are not required to be ‘artistic’ – we are there to help you bring out your creativity.  You will receive your drink at the beginning of the evening and there is always an opportunity to purchase more.  The venue will serve food after the first hour.  You can take a break at this time or eat while you continue painting.  Each venue has it’s own menu – it might be a Mediterranean platter or a finger buffet.  If you have an special dietary requirements please let us know in advance so we can cater for your needs.

It is often surprisingly quiet at a TippleART event as everyone is concentrating on their canvas.  It is not an art lesson so there is no need to feel any pressure – just a space in which to have fun being creative with as much or as little help as you need. Towards the end of the evening when people are finishing their artwork, we will take a picture of everyone’s individual art work. Contact us on office@tippleart.uk and we can tailor make an event for you.

Time to review your evenings masterpiece and a bit more chat.

As well as our resources tables, we have merchandise you can purchase.  Our picture frames are made for us to fit our canvases.  We always bring some with us or they can be ordered for you.  We have our own polo shirts and aprons for sale too.  And you will soon be able order mugs and cards displaying your own artwork.

Towards the end of the evening when people are finishing their artwork, we will take a picture of it.  We put together Tipple Tapestries which we can email to you as a lovely memory of the event.  We are always happy to take photos of you with your artwork and group pictures.

When you have finished and are ready to go, just take your artwork with you and leave all the clearing up to us.

TippleART also offers you the opportunity to create your own event – be it a private party, team building for your business, or a charity event, just contact us and we can tailor make something for you.
